Participants should have a firm working knowledge of basic watercolour techniques and materials and are ready to advance their skills and knowledge of painting in watercolour beyond the beginner level.
Traditional and experimental techniques, colour and value systems, composition and painting styles will be explored through demonstrations, in-class painting and homework. Individual attention and class critiques complement the learning process. In class demonstrations, gallery visits, independent work and discussion are important components of the program.**Please note that students must have taken previous Watercolour classes prior to registering for this course, or possess the equivalent knowledge** .
